An excellent Mt. Kenya hiking experience! The hike was extremely well organized from beginning to end, which made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable. The food was surprisingly delicious, well-prepared, and very satisfying—especially impressive given the mountain conditions.

The guides were outstanding: highly professional, strong, knowledgeable, and always focused on safety. They encouraged everyone, maintained a good pace, and ensured the we felt supported throughout the hike. Their experience and positive attitude truly made a big difference.

Overall, this was a memorable and well-managed Mt. Kenya adventure. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a safe, well-organized, and enjoyable hike on Mt. Kenya.

My partner and I did a fantastic 4 day trip with mark and his team up Mt Kenya - we went up the chogoria route and down naro Moro, staying in huts at the base and camping higher up the mountain. Mark was easily contactable prior to setting off, and things were well organised, especially as it was in the shoulder season! Mark and his team were all lovely people, and made our experience very enjoyable. Mark has good knowledge of the park and the different animals/plants which made it interesting, and we felt like we were in safe hands with both mark and Sami our guides. The food was all delicious and there was a lot of it! Lots of fresh fruit and veg, eggs, filling meals, lots of hot drinks and snacks. The tents were good quality, spacious and comfortable. We would really recommend going with mark and his team and we will hopefully do another trip with them in the future!

I love visiting Kenya to see the abundant wildlife. Mark’s advice to
travel in June rather than May this year proved beneficial for my short
trip.I visited Lake Navasha for this first time, then returned to Lake
Nakuru National Park, which I always enjoy.The heavy rains in May meant
both lakes were filled high giving a different perspective from the way
they look in drier times. It is always lovely to see the birdlife and
animals, but even better when new species are spotted which happened on
this trip.Mark again arranged all my transport, park permits and booked
all accommodation.I will continue to use the services of MK Snow Tours
and Travel and I have no hesitation in recommending Mark and his team.
I’m hoping to be able to spend more time on my next visit.Thanks again

A different perspective of Kenya’s lakes

I love visiting Kenya to see the abundant wildlife. Mark’s advice to travel in June rather than May proved beneficial. I visited Lake Naivasha for the first time and returned to Lake Nakuru National Park. The heavy rains meant both lakes were full, giving a different perspective. Mark arranged transport, permits, and accommodation seamlessly. I will continue to use MK Snow Tours and highly recommend Mark and his team.
